Build a 1 Obby Tier List Hub

This hub is the scoring desk for Build a 1 Obby (the Roblox listing is Build An Obby by Actually Pointless Games). Rankings split into two pages: the parts tier list for cubes, traps, and movement pieces, and the gamepasses tier list for Robux. We do not rank vibes. Every slot has a job: skill expression, routing, volume, cash, or traversal.

Build a 1 Obby is a simulation tycoon on online 5-player servers. You build on your plot, other people visit, and cash moves when you run your own course, when visitors run it, and while you are offline. That loop is why a fading platform outranks a sphere, and why x2 Cash outranks a coil you wear for fun.

How we score

A part is S-tier when it changes how visitors jump, die, or take a route you designed. A gamepass is S-tier when it pays you on sessions you already play. Four questions decide the letter:

• Skill expression. Can a practiced builder make a fair-but-hard beat, or a troll beat, that basic cubes cannot?
• Routing and verticality. Does it stack height, force a wall read, or split lanes?
• Trust. Will a first-time visitor plant a foot and not slide off a round collider?
• Cash and time. Does a pass multiply income, or only look loud for an average 13-minute session?

We ignore rarity for rarity’s sake. The shop restocks. Rank is about what the piece does when you have it, not whether it is in the tray this hour. Paint is not a tier: it is a readability buff you apply after the route is honest.

Parts at a glance

Keep this snapshot next to the full parts ranking:

• S: fading platforms, lava used as traps, jump pads. High skill-expression and troll value.
• A: ramps, walls, half-cubes. Routing and verticality. Wall jumps sit here as climb tools.
• B: basic cubes and platforms, including checkered platforms. Volume filler you always need.
• C: spheres and purely cosmetic spam. Low trust for footing.

Ghost paths are a special case: huge troll value, easy to make unreadable. We park them at high A unless you are writing a dedicated troll plot. Gamepasses at a glance

Full prices, PERM tags, and who should buy live on the gamepasses ranking:

• S: x2 Cash at 199 Robux. Always-on income.
• A: Flying Carpet at 399 Robux (PERM traversal) and Speed Coil at 79 Robux (cheap, strong for the price).
• B: Gravity Coil at 199 Robux (PERM). Fun, weaker for cash.
• C / skip: VIP is offsale. Do not plan a budget around it, and do not buy it if a listing reappears without a clear extra.

How to use both lists in one session

Spend in-game cash on S parts when the shop shows them. Fill air and floors with B cubes so the route exists. Use A ramps and walls to add height instead of stacking raw cubes forever. Keep C spheres as decoration, not as the only landing. On the Robux side, buy x2 Cash if you play daily. Pick Speed Coil if you want a cheap movement bump. Save Flying Carpet for builders who hop plots and edit at height. Skip Gravity Coil until the income pass is owned. Skip VIP.

This hub is not a patch blog. The last recorded experience update is 7 July 2026; the latest update page lists what we can verify and what the group has not published. It is also not a codes dump. There were no confirmed promo codes as of September 2026; still check codes if you like to try the box after a restock.
