Build a 1 Obby Shop Guide

The shop is the other half of Build a 1 Obby (listed as Build An Obby). Cash from finishes, visitors, offline earnings, dailies, and 2x windows only matters if you convert it into parts that sit on the plot. This page is what to buy, when to wait on restock, and how refunds stop you from owning a pile of lava you never tested. Placement keys stay on Controls. Fair gaps stay on How to Build.

There is no confirmed promo-code shortcut as of September 2026. Do not stall in the shop waiting on the codes hub. The catalogue is cubes, half-cubes, spheres, platforms, walls, ramps, lava and kill bricks, fading platforms, wall jumps, ghost paths, jump pads, and checkered platforms. Some of those take paint after they sit.

The buy-place-test loop

  1. Open the shop.
  2. Buy a part you can snap in the next four studs.
  3. Close the shop so HUD does not eat taps on mobile.
  4. Place, or refund if the highlight says illegal.
  5. Play those new parts. If you fail, refund and buy a wider platform instead of a meaner trap.

That loop is how Getting Started spends the first fifteen minutes. The shop is not a collection game. Unused parts in inventory are cash that is not earning visitor completions.

What to buy on a new plot

First restock: cubes or platforms, maybe one ramp. Enough for six to eight easy steps and a finish. No lava floor. No fade as the second pad.

Once the line pays: one wall as a rail, one jump pad as punctuation, paint if you need contrast on landings. Checkered platforms help visitors see the route from a five-player spawn.

After you can finish your own course: fading platforms, wall jumps, ghost paths, and lava as traps — the S and A tools on the parts tier list. They belong in a troll side route only if the paying line still exists.

Spheres look cheap and play expensive. They roll thumbs off the landing. Skip them until you know why you want a bad footing.

Restock is a clock

Community play and the shop UI treat some parts as limited or rotating. If the cube you need is gone, place what you have and come back. Do not buy five kill bricks because they are the only thing in stock. A restock of filler cubes will pay more than a lava warehouse.

Restock continues while you are offline the same way cash drips in offline earnings. That is not a reason to leave the plot empty. Come back, spend, place, test. A larger empty pad after a plot upgrade plus a bad restock is how people stall for a whole session.

If a 2x cash window is live, stay playable. Buy platforms that keep the finish honest. Expanding into a construction site during 2x wastes the boost earn cash cares about.

Refunds, paint, and invalid snaps

Double-click (PC) or double-tap (mobile) refunds or returns a part. Use it. A misaligned ramp is not a personality. Invalid placement highlights; forcing the snap wastes the restock slot.

Paint and color do not need a restock of a new shape. Recolor a landing so mobile cameras can see it. That is cheaper than buying a second platform you do not have room for.

Do not spend the shop on gamepasses by accident. x2 Cash (199 Robux), Speed Coil (79), Gravity Coil (199), Flying Carpet (399) are Robux products, not shop cash. VIP is offsale. Compare them on the gamepasses tier list after the plot already completes.

Shop mistakes that starve the plot

  • Buying plot space because the shop feels empty. Space is a different button. Read plot upgrades.
  • Filling inventory during a restock and never placing. Visitors run what is on the dirt.
  • Spending every coin on lava, then wondering why nobody finishes.
  • Leaving the shop overlay open on a phone and jumping into a ghost snap.
  • Waiting on codes. There were no confirmed active codes in September 2026.

How the shop talks to other pages

The shop is the faucet. Earn cash is the tank. How to Build is the plumbing. Visit plots is where you steal a restock idea (a rail after a fade, a checkered last pad) and buy that part next time it appears.

Scripts that auto-buy are not a shop strategy. If you look at them, use the scripts hub and expect a ban risk. The intended loop is still: cash in, part out, snap on the plot, finish.

Buy the next four parts you can test before the session ends. That is a full shop education. Everything else is a restock you can catch tomorrow.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Build a 1 Obby on Roblox.

What should I buy first in the Build a 1 Obby shop?

Cubes or platforms, then a ramp. Skip lava and fades until a short course pays. Getting Started is the fifteen-minute buy list.

The part I want is missing. Is the shop broken?

Usually it is restock. Place what you have, play the line, come back. Do not dump cash into kill bricks just because they are in stock.

Do refunds give the cash back?

Double-click or double-tap removes the part and refunds or returns it to inventory. Use that instead of leaving a bad snap. See Controls.

Should I buy a plot upgrade from the shop?

Plot size is a separate spend. Buy it only after the current pad is a completable route. Plot upgrades is the rule.

Are shop packs better than single parts?

Only if you will place them this session. Inventory that never hits the plot does not earn visitor cash. Rank shapes on the parts tier list.
