Build a 1 Obby Guides Hub
Claim a plot, place parts, earn cash, and keep every course finishable.
Build a 1 Obby is this wiki’s name for Build An Obby by Actually Pointless Games (place 131073502359683). The experience is a free-to-play Roblox simulation tycoon: you claim a plot, buy parts from the shop, assemble an obstacle course, and earn cash when you or other players finish it. It released on 23 September 2025 and was updated on 7 July 2026. Each server holds five players, and you can walk onto other plots on that server. It is not split-screen and not a solo-only sandbox. Desktop, mobile, and tablet all use the same R6 character.
This hub is a map, not a second copy of every mechanic. If you just joined, start with Getting Started. If blocks already refuse to sit where you click, open Build a 1 Obby Controls. Once a short line of platforms exists, How to Build covers jump spacing and test cadence. Cash math lives on How to Earn Cash. Plot size is its own spend decision in Plot Upgrades. Pranks belong last, and only if a real finish still exists: Troll Obby Guide.
How the loop pays
The shop sells cubes, half-cubes, spheres, platforms, walls, ramps, lava and kill bricks, fading platforms, wall jumps, ghost paths, jump pads, and checkered platforms. Some of those parts take paint. Invalid placement highlights so you can pull the piece back instead of welding a broken snap. Completing your own course pays a little. Other players completing it pays more over a session. Offline earnings tick while you are away. Daily rewards and timed 2x cash boosts stack on top. Crates and packs add parts or cash. The x2 Cash gamepass at 199 Robux doubles the multiplier if you buy it. Impossible layouts starve that loop because nobody finishes.
Starter plots are small. Community videos often show about twenty blocks of room before you buy space. The finish line extends to your last part, so a short honest course still has an end. Expanding the plot before you can fill the current footprint with a completable route is a common cash sink. Shop restocks also matter: buy what you can place today, not a warehouse of lava you cannot afford to test.
Guide map
Getting Started
The Getting Started page is a first-fifteen-minutes script. Join, claim a plot, buy a handful of platforms, place six to eight easy steps, play the course once, and refuse troll parts until cash is moving. It is the onboarding page for anyone who has never built on this plot before.
Controls
Controls lists PC and mobile inputs side by side. Click or tap to place, R to rotate, Q to raise, E to lower, double-click or double-tap to refund a part into inventory. It also splits build mode from play mode so you stop editing while you are trying to jump.
Mobile and tablet
The official listing supports phones and tablets. Mobile is the thumb-camera layer: tap to place, test without coils, and keep the first gaps wide so visitors on a stick can finish.
Shop and restock
Shop and restock is what to buy on this restock versus what to wait for. Cubes first, lava later, refunds always. Inventory that never sits on the plot does not pay.
Earn Cash
How to Earn Cash treats income as a design problem. Finishable length beats sadistic length. Visitor completions, offline payouts, and 2x windows are the real levers. An impossible-obby video sits mid-article as a caution, not a blueprint.
How to Build
How to Build is the craft page: Roblox jumps of about five studs high and eighteen studs far, testing every four parts, ramps versus gaps, and lava used as punctuation instead of a floor. The hardest-obby video is an advanced reference after those basics.
Plot Upgrades
Plot Upgrades answers when to buy space versus more parts. The finish line follows your last piece. If the current pad is still empty air, the upgrade is early.
Troll Obby
The Troll Obby Guide covers hidden lava, fading platforms, and fake paths without deleting the real route. Visitors who never finish never pay you.
Private Server
The Private Server Guide covers renting a reserved slot for uninterrupted building, script testing, and farming without strangers. Private servers cost Robux for time and do not change income rates or part availability.
Course Layouts
The Course Layouts Guide covers five proven patterns — linear, branching, vertical, circular, and troll — plus beat density, rest placement, and the finish-line rule that every layout must obey.
Boosts and Events
The Boosts and Events Guide covers daily rewards, 2x cash windows, seasonal bonuses, and how to stack multipliers for maximum income. Includes a pre-window and post-window session strategy.
Other hubs on this wiki
Promo codes are tracked on the Codes Hub; none were confirmed as of September 2026. Rank parts and passes on the Tier List Hub, including the parts tier list and the gamepasses tier list. Visiting other people’s courses is covered on the Players Hub and in Visit Plots. The Rebirth prestige system for permanent income multipliers is on the Players Hub. Patch notes sit on the Updates Hub and Latest Update. Automation notes live later on the Scripts Hub, including how to run scripts and auto farm if you look for those after the intended loop.
Read Getting Started, Controls, then How to Build unless your plot is already a lava pit. In that case open Earn Cash and Troll Obby first, strip the sadistic line, and put a finishable route back before you buy more space.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Build a 1 Obby on Roblox.
Which Build a 1 Obby guide should I open first?
New accounts should follow Getting Started for the first fifteen minutes, then Controls if placement still feels clumsy. Skip troll pages until a short course actually pays.
Is Build a 1 Obby single-player or split-screen?
Neither. Official listing is Build An Obby. Servers hold five players, you visit other plots, and cash comes from completions plus offline earnings. Desktop, mobile, and tablet all work.
Are there working codes right now?
None were confirmed as of September 2026. Check the Codes Hub and how to redeem if a code appears later. Do not wait on codes to fund your first platforms.
Why does this hub keep saying beatable courses earn more?
Other players on your five-person server must finish the line for you to collect visitor cash. Impossible and troll-only layouts get fewer completions. See How to Earn Cash for the income math.
Where do plot size and part ranks live?
Plot Upgrades covers space versus parts. The parts tier list ranks cubes, ramps, lava, fading platforms, and the rest of the shop.
